The Sanitation Technician will complete all daily, weekly, and master sanitation scheduled tasks as assigned by Sanitation Lead.
Responsibilities
- Execute the sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP) as outlined by quality department.
- Notify Sanitation Lead when sanitation supplies are below established inventory levels
- Participate in all in-house relevant training
- Build and contribute to a plant-wide workplace and food safety culture, believing in zero injuries
- Participate in a respectful work environment where employees can bring forward not only ideas and improvements but concerns of all nature, including safety and harassment issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A grade 12 secondary school diploma
- Previous sanitation or cleaning work experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
