Operations Manager – Winnipeg, MB

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Trucking Operations Manager.


  • Oversee and manage all aspects of trucking operations, including fleet management, driver scheduling, and route planning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain and manage relationships with customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance and repair of the trucking fleet.
  • Actively participate in the sales process, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of drivers and operations staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track key performance indicators, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in trucking operations.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience in trucking operations management, preferably with a background in maintenance and sales.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Proficient in using transportation management systems and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
