NutraSun Foods is currently seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Journeyman Electrician at our plant in Regina, SK. Reporting to the Production Manager, key areas of responsibilities are electrical troubleshooting, install / decommissioning of electrical components, PLC troubleshooting, and general maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting within the facility.
- Inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems, transformers, circuit breakers to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for install and repair work.
- Fabricates, installs and/or runs conduit, 3-phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting and panel work.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning systems using appropriate testing devices and tools.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Saskatchewan Journeyman License
- Industrial experience is an asset
- PLC experience an asset
- Current valid drivers license and drivers abstract required
- Physical fitness test required
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing setting is an asset
- Demonstrated problem solving/decision making skills
- Excellent communication skills
