Paterson GlobalFoods (PGF) is currently seeking a pro-active, hands on professional to join our team as Manager, Corporate Risk & Loss Prevention. Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will manage the Loss Prevention Program supporting PGF and its related companies. They will also conduct Loss Prevention audits and monitor compliance of various operating policies and procedures, to ensure corporate assets are protected.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Loss Prevention support to PGF and its related companies;
- Provides expert advice on operational policy and procedures at all levels of the organization;
- Investigate all suspected risk/loss incidents and liaison with external agencies (police, financial, legal etc.) as appropriate to determine causes and resolve cases;
- Conducts interviews in a timely basis to identify theft and procedure violations;
- Present findings of investigations to the CEO;
Qualifications:
- Post secondary education or experience equivalent in Criminal Justice, Safety, Business, or related loss prevention field would be considered an asset. Combination of experience and education will be considered;
- Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Fraud examiner (CFE) certification is considered an asset;
- 5+ years of progressive loss prevention experience in a multi-unit retail environment;
- Advanced interview and investigation skills; Experience with the Reid technique and/or Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) method is considered an asset;
- Ability to deal with sensitive issues with integrity and strong professional judgment;
- Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to a changing environment, competing demands, and new responsibilities;
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks;
- Strong computer skills including excel, word and outlook;
- Experience in the agriculture/grain industry is considered an asset;
